Try The Grilled Swordfish Steaks With Aioli Saue

Are you planning for a beach party this summer? Get ready with your swim wear, swim gears, swim delights, and your barbeque grill! Yes, it is best to spend your vacation in water with barbeque recipes. You and your group will enjoy the taste of a barbeque while drinking a bottle of soda. For many, going to the beach will not be complete without the smoke coming from a barbeque grill. Would you like to try a delicious grilled swordfish for your beach holiday? It’s so easy to prepare.

In preparing your swordfish, you will need:

4 8 oz Swordfish Steaks
Olive Oil
Salt and Pepper

For your Aioli Sauce, the ingredients you should prepare are:

1 Egg yolk
1 clove of garlic, minced
1 teaspoon of mustard
Lemon juice
1 tablespoon of rice vinegar
1/2 cup of vegetable oil

This how you will do it.

First, prepare the swordfish by seasoning it with salt, pepper, and brush with olive oil. Put in grill on high temperature. While grilling your swordfish, you may prepare the aioli sauce. Combine the rest of ingredients in the bowl, and whisk in vegetable oil slowly until becomes thick. If the swordfish is ready for serving, top the grilled fish with a spoonful of the aioli sauce. For more exciting taste, serve it with tomato salad and garlic crostini. A mouth-watery beach experience, isn’t it?

Root Beer Sauce

Root beer is one of the more famous beverages out there. It’s great on its own, but even better if you put some vanilla ice cream with it to make a root beer float. That’s not all what root beer is good for though, I found out that it’s also a great ingredient for making a barbecue sauce. That’s right, root beer as the base for a barbecue sauce. So, here’s what you need to make your Root Beer sauce:

1 cup Root Beer (I’m not brand specific, your favorite root beer will do)
1 cup tomato sauce (You can use ketchup as substitute)
1/4 cup fresh lemon juice
1/4 cup orange juice
3 Tbsp Worcestershire sauce
1-1/2 Tbsp dark brown sugar, packed
2 Tbsp cane Syrup
1 tsp liquid smoke
1/2 tsp lemon peel, grated
1/2 tsp ground ginger
1/2 tsp granulated garlic
1/2 tsp onion powder

All you have to do is combine all the ingredients in a saucepan. Let your concoction boil over medium heat while you stir occasionally. Once it boils, turn down the fire and let the mixture simmer for about 20 minutes or until it is reduced to 1 ½ cups. Season with salt and pepper and set it aside to cool down. It is recommended that you make this sauce about 2 weeks in advance and keep it refrigerated.

Why Smoked is Best

When I was a teenager, I always liked standing next to the grill when the coal starts to fire up. With just a few squirts of lighter fluid to that black thing, the flame eats all the charcoal and the next thing you know your meat is cooked. But if you think that grilling is just that, then your missing the juicy part of the story. It takes some time and a little bit of practice to maintain the flame to cook the meat perfectly. Although grilling is a very easy method of cooking, sometimes you have to watch out how the charcoal is doing to avoid burning your hotdogs or your chicken. You don’t want to eat that burnt part, do you?

Smokers or grills, charcoal or gas, it’s exactly the same thing. It’s still grilling. But hands down to charcoal smokers since they give that distinct smoked flavor into your barbeque. When the juices from your meat starts to drip down to the charcoal, the vapors produce that flavored smoke to your meat. Just be careful not to burn the whole thing. Although the heat can induce the meat’s exterior to caramelize, which tastes good on your barbeque, if it’s burnt it’s not good for yourbody’s health.

The backyard isn’t the only place where people could grill their meat. If you’re going out camping, it’s a good idea to bring a portable grill with you so you could cook your food and not just settle on canned food products. If you’re going on a picnic with your family or friends, bringing a grill is also a great idea. If you love cooking outdoors, then you’d want to get a hold of a portable grill. Stuffed Grilled Salmon

You’ve probably already tried smoked salmon or having it fried, but has grilled salmon been served in your plate? How about stuffing your salmon with mouth watering filling? Here’s one you can add to your favorite barbecue recipes.

Grilling is one way of reducing food fat to make your food healthier. Here are the ingredients for the stuffing:

3 slices bacon
1 large onion
4 cloves garlic
2 tablespoons chopped parsley
10 fresh sage leaves
1 teaspoon ground oregano
1/2 teaspoon fennel seed
1/4 teaspoon black pepper
1/4 teaspoon salt
1 whole salmon
6 slices of lemon
Olive oil

Sauté all the ingredients for 4 minutes, then set it aside to let it cool. Lay salmon, skin side down, on work surface; season flesh with sea salt and pepper. Lay 3 lemon slices on each side of salmon. Spread chilled stuffing on one side and fold other side of salmon over the mixture.

The salmon must be grilled for 45 minutes. Don’t forget to turn it once halfway grilling time. Before serving, remove the salmon from grill and let stand for 10 minutes.
This may seem as grilling as cooking any other kind of fish but here are also some grilling hints to remember. Salmon, like all other fish, cook rapidly on the grill, so you better be on the watch! Another thing is that having the fish covered with foil prevents it from direct contact with fire which means that what you would be eating is nothing but grilled fish and not burnt fish.

Some people like tossing the fish every once in a while which is not good – once is enough to prevent its flesh from breaking up. If you are in doubt if the fish is already cooked, insert a paring knife and take a good look inside – if it already looks translucent in the center, you can now remove it from the grate.

Things You Need To Know About Ribs

Ribs are one of the more popular grilled food items. A barbecue would not be complete if ribs are not in the menu. These small bone pieces that are cut from the rib racks of cattle or swine are great as barbecue appetizers. Before the potential of ribs as a tasty food item was discovered, they were often thrown out in the garbage. Now, things have changed and people enjoy ribs as part of their meal. Several restaurants, butchers, and meat shops exploit the popularity of ribs by making anything out of them. Ribs are easy to prepare, is very affordable, meaty and quite tasty.

There are several ways to prepare ribs, but the most important thing to remember is that they cook fairly easily. The safest and best way to grill ribs is at a slow pace on a low fire. A small charcoal fire would suffice for these tasty treats. You may choose whether to use seasoning or barbecue sauce for your ribs. If you want to season your ribs, just a sprinkle or a good rub will do. If you want to use barbecue sauce, it is suggested that you apply some just before the ribs are done.

BBQ Party and Beers

Barbecuing is one of the several activities that families engage in to bond with each other. Barbecuing may be done whether or not there is a special occasion. I guess, one can say that making barbecues is one of the few household chores that men are sincerely very willing to make in the house. Surely, barbecuing canease one’s mind from stress.

One can say that making barbecues does require some skill. If one is not careful, the barbecues can all end up getting burned. Now that is definitely not a pleasant sight. Making excellent barbecues is reason enough for a celebration. You can see families in movies, as well as in real life, holding beer mugs during a barbecue experience.

My friends gave me a set of beer mugs that I and the boys use, especially during barbecue parties. The beer mugs that she made were absolutely gorgeous. They were very light. Also, it seems to me that the mugs are unbreakable. Some of the mugs that my friend gave fell a couple of times on the concrete. Yet, the mugs don’t have cracks in them. I suggest using beer mugs during barbecue parties so to ensure that glassware aren’t destroyed in case things go rough.

A Healthy Barbeque Party

Summer season is never complete without outdoor parties. Families and friends spend time together at their backyards and gardens doing all sorts of fun activities. They swim, play, and of course enjoy food delights. One of the things families don’t miss especially during summer is a barbeque party.

Barbeque parties are fun and a perfect time for family bonding. Besides, the tasty grilled recipes are very appealing during these times. Since many Americans will be going out of their homes for the summer season, here are a few tips for a safe and healthy barbeque party.

First, defrost the meat completely for better grilling. Second, remember to store marinated meet in the refrigerator and avoid using the marinade used for raw meat without cooking it. Third, see to it that all the utensils you will be using are clean and thoroughly washed. Fourth, grill the meat well making sure that it is safe to eat. Fifth, the grilled food must be served cleanly or kept in clean containers. By following these simple rules, not only will you have fun, but you will also be assured that the entire barbeque party especially the food is safe and healthy.

Make a Fire without Using Lighter Fluid

The hardest part in roasting and barbecue is how to create a fire. You may have the best cuts of meats and the finest barbecue equipments, but without the fire, you’ve practically got nothing. The most obvious and commonly used solution to starting a fire is by using lighter fluid. Although it is quite effective, the fumes of the lighter fluid can ruin the taste of your food and might have health hazards as well. You might think that without the lighter fluid, building a fire would become a tedious and hard task, but you’re wrong. There are a few things that you can do to make a lighter fluid-free fire.

The first thing you have to do is gather all the old newspapers you no longer need; they will serve as the kindling to your fire. Roll the 2 papers in to tubes and mold it into a shape that resembles a donut. Place on paper over the other and place it in your chimney starter. Put the charcoals inside the chimney starter and light the papers in several places and in about 10 minutes, your charcoal should be ready. Just move the burnt charcoals in your barbecue grill and start roasting your burgers. Afterwards, you can have a great barbecue party.

How to Make Beef Barbecue Patties

Now that summer is just around the corner, it is time once again to have barbeque parties with your families, relatives, and even friends. You have to admit that holding these kinds of events can be fun, but it can be very tiring at the same time. One reason for this is that you always have to serve something new. If you want your friends to taste something new and delicious, then you should definitely serve them the beef barbeque patties.

The ingredients for this delicious home-cooked meal are:

- 500 grams of beef, minced
-One whole onion, chopped
-One cup of breadcrumbs, fresh white
-One egg
-One-fourth cup of Red Wine and Garlic Marinade by Masterfoods
-Eight whole buns for the hamburger
-One cup of lettuce, shredded
-Two whole tomatoes, sliced

To prepare this food, mix the onion, egg, breadcrumbs, and the Red Wine and Garlic Marinade. Make sure that you mix them thoroughly so that the mixture will turn out well. After you have done this, you can now shape them into beef patties. When all of them have already been shaped properly, you can set them aside for at least 30 minutes before you can cook them.
